You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars, you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should. -anonymous note found in Old Saint Paul church dated 1692

inward- it rushes in
swirls into every corner
a light so pure
that cannot be changed
only forgotten
spins with the glory that you hold
admixtures intensify their dose
the heat rises
the colours blend from gold
to all brights and shines
beams riding the stream
of the out breath
washing the sites clean
buzzing into the next
cauldron of steaming brew
rushing in
and boiling through
the charges are aligning
the world anew
and there's nothing you're to do
but breathe

flight
the song in my heart
is drumming in my ears
the rhythm is pulling all
the colours in line
the shadows disappear
as the key opens
me up wide
opened to the motion
of the stars
round this here planet
circulating on the beat
of the one pulse
streams of red
mixing with streams of green
flowing into rivers of blue
all within me and out to you
mixing up a whole new brew
this takes a moment
just a few
breaths and
it’s shaken, stirred
settled into the place
where feathers fall away
and only the breeze remains

Nature is an endless combination and repetition of a very few laws. She hums the old well-known air through innumerable variations.
We lie in the lap of immense intelligence, which makes us receivers of its truth and organs of its activity. When we discern justice, when we discern truth, we do nothing of ourselves, but allow a passage to its beams.
The squirrel hoards nuts and the bee gathers honey, without knowing what they do, and they are thus provided for without selfishness or disgrace.
(man follows Truth, Truth is forever present, and similarly all other unconscious pursuits or natural yearnings seem to come back after the hunt)

"The Biology of Belief: Unleashing the Power of Consciousness, Matter and Miracles" (Winner of the 2006 Best Science Book award) is a book that brings attention to the amazing new awareness that is currently rewriting the science of biology and medicine. Until recently, conventional science has held that genes control life, a concept known as genetic determinism. While this disempowering belief is still held as truth by the mainstream public, leading edge research in the exciting new field of epigenetics reveals a completely different truth. Genes do not control life. It is the environment, and more specifically, our perception of the environment that controls gene activity. In the end, it comes down to a simple case of “mind over matter” in controlling the fate of our lives.
