You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars, you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should. -anonymous note found in Old Saint Paul church dated 1692

Because it's true...
You know when you go to a concert like punk-rock and the kids get on stage and they jump into the crowd? People think that's dangerous, but not me... because humans are made of 95% water, so the audience is 5% away from a pool.
Why is Cloud 9 so amazing? What is wrong with Cloud 8? That joke came off the top of my head, and the top of my head ain't funny!
Rice is great if you're really hungry and want to eat two thousand of something.
My apartment is infested with koala bears. It's the cutest infestation ever. Way better than cockroaches. When I turn on the light a bunch of koala bears scatter. And I don't want them to, you know? I'm like, "Hey, wait, come back. Let me hold one of you... and feed you a leaf."
People teach their dogs to sit; it's a trick. I've been sitting my whole life, and a dog has never looked at me as though he thought I was tricky.

Just as a river has a source, so the river of consciousness has a source. It descends from Cosmic Consciousness, the consciousness of God that is beyond all creation. When Cosmic Consciousness comes into the realm of matter- into each of the atoms that make up the planets and island universes, and the different forms of plant, animal, and human life- that Consciousness is called Christ Consciousness. When Christ Consciousness descends into the soul and pure mind of man, it is called superconsciousness. When superconsciousness descends into the realm of imagination, it is called subconsciousness. When subconsciousness descends into the muscular and sensory phase of human life, it is called human or waking consciousness. When waking consciousness becomes attached to the senses and material things, it is called worldly consciousness, and when it is used to harm oneself or others, it is evil consciousness. But when it is used to do good things and to produce attunement with God, then it is called spiritual consciousness.
Our souls are like derelicts floating on this river of consciousness, going farther and farther away from their source in Spirit towar the rocks of misery. The only way to stop this evolutional floating downward in the stream of consciousness is to swim against that current, back to the source in Spirit.

"The Prophets are a single Being. If you deny one of them, you deny all. The Prophets recognize and support and blend with each other. There's only One Light coming through the phrophetic window. The same Sun shines through the bodies of all those Messengers. If you disbelieve one of them, you're like a bat that says, "Yesterday's sun was fine, but today, I feel shy in the light. " The answer to that is that the two suns are identical. The only difference is that you can't be tested in yesterday's light.
In the same way, if a snake on the bank says, "I used to swim in the water that formerly flowed in this creek, but I'm not accustomed to this new water," the answer is, "This water and that water are the same, the only difference being that you cannot be tested as a swimmer in the previous water, which you claim is so different."
Once a Zen master held out a pencil and balanced it on his finger. He said, "if you concentrate on either side of the pencil, it'll fall. Concentrate on where your finger is."

The heart He set to be as the Throne. His Throne in the heavens is something known about, whereas His throne on earth is a lodging-place, and thus the throne of the heart is a nobler thing than the Throne of the heavens, for that Throne is not wide enough for Him; but this throne is something towards which at all times he looks, to which he reveals Himself, or to which He sends down from heaven His bounty, for He has said: "My heavens were not wide enough to hold Me, nor My earth, but the heart of my believing servant holds Me". Ibn Al Arabi
So this made me warm inside. It plays on the whole microcosm, macrocosm idea. What's outside in the universe is exactly what's inside our bodies, or more to the point, we are our own universe. Meh...tis true. And that's what I'm out here to find, some truth.
